Born on the banks of the Nile River, raised by parents with some education. He grew up with encouragement to someday become a great professor, with high degrees from studying abroad. During his early years he had a clear vision that he loved physical and mathematics of science. Once he graduated from high school he went to Alexandria University and the faculty of science there, he graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science. After, that he was appointed to a teaching position at a University to teach undergraduates. He then continued his studies in the United States at the University of Pennsylvania. In the United States, he studied the many fields of science. Today he is living very happily!

I chose him because of his contributions to modern chemistry. Also because when researching chemist on the internet, he had a very interesting name that I have never heard of before. Lastly Ahmed Zewail is not you typical textbook scientist, therefore many students do not know about him!
