Where does it com from?

They also use echolocation for mating, the male sends out a low grunt and the female responds in an even lower grunt.
Elephants seem to procure the lowest sounds with a larynx similar to those of all mammals, but theirs is much larger.
Humans can hear up to 20,000 HZ and hear all the way down to 20 HZ
For example when elephants great each other they use as sound that is around 18-25 HZ. So most people standing next to the elephants wouldn't even know they were communicating.
They can hear lower sounds than we can due to there large head and ears. They have larger ear canals so they can hear deeper sounds.
Hertz Test
Sounds We Can/Cant Hear
Elephants can hear up to 12,000 HZ and all the way down to 14 HZ
For example an elephant can hear 10 times better than a cat can, but a cat can hear 2 times better than a mouse
We can hear many sounds that the elephants make, from there highest shrills to most of there low grunts.
The absolute lowest sound we can hear is called a rumble.
They can hear almost a mile away.
