Let us begin with the sign of our faith...

In the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit Amen

Lord, we come before you as we are.

We ask you to take away from us

all that makes us less than human.

Strengthen us with the power of your Spirit

that our attitude and outlook may develop,

and our “way of looking”

may become more like yours.

Help us to remain positive -

encouraging and appreciating one another,

looking upon people in the same way that you do.

Amen.

For the sick and the weak to heal

We pray to the Lord, "Lord hear our prayer"

For the homeless and lonely that they find comfort in their lives We pray to the Lord, "Lord hear our prayer"

For the people in the 3rd world countries who don't have the necessities they need to survive We pray to the Lord, "Lord hear our prayer"

For any special intentions people hold in their hearts We pray to the Lord, "Lord hear our prayer"

Write down one way that your way of looking can become more like Gods

Our First reading is from Matthew

Ch.6 22-23

The eyes are like a lamp for the body. If your eyes are sound, your whole body will be full of light; but if your eyes are no good, your body will be in darkness. So if the light in you is darkness, how terribly dark it will be!
