-The consequence was an arming on a massive scale on the two sides, everyone was ready to start to fight; the 1st World War broke out.

-Solution and end: Sinn Fein and the British government signed an armistice agreement on July 9th, 1921.
-Ireland achieves a greater domestic independence from England on December 6th, 1921.
-However, six counties of the province Ulster remain part of the United Kingdom.
-This doesn't change when Ireland finally achieves absolute independence from Great Britain on April 18th, 1949.
