CLIMAX

"I killed your father." Scar reveals mid battle that he was the one who killed Mufasa, while the two are surrounded by fire, showing that this was the definite highest point of action/interest.

RISING ACTION #3

Nala finds the grown up Simba with Timon and Pumbaa and attempts to bring him back to pride rock and take back the throne. Nala fails, but there is still some hope. Rafiki figures out Simba is still alive, and ventures out to the jungle. After having a vision with his father, Simba is convinced to return to pride rock and bring peace to the pride lands

FALLING ACTION

The falling action includes the end of the battle, while the hyenas turn on Scar, and bring him to his death, ending the battle.

RISING ACTION #2

Mufasa is betrayed by Scar, and is thrown into a stampede started by the hyenas down a canyon. Simba is okay, but is told by Scar that he must "Run! Run away and never return!" or Simba will have to admit that he killed his father (the SHAME!). Simba runs away and meets Pumbaa and Timon far away in the desert, while Scar says that both lions have died, and then takes over the throne.

RESOLUTION

After Scar's demise (WOO HOO!), Simba takes back the throne, and all the lions, including Timon and Pumbaa, reunite, and peacefully send the hyenas back to the elephant graveyard, resolving and ending the conflict.

CONCLUSION

The film ends with a change of setting (from on fire and bare, to sunny and plentiful), and the birth of Nala and Simba's cub. All the primary characters stand atop pride rock, happily and satisfyingly ending the movie.

RISING ACTION #1

After attempting to eat Nala and Simba, the hyenas are scared by Mufasa, and later are asked by Scar to help him "dispose", shall we say, of Simba and Mufasa, so he can become king and rule the pride lands. (The plot thickens...)

INITIAL INCIDENT

"Is that a challenge?" asks Scar, whom seems suspicious and has an evil sense to his demeanor. He did not show up to the event of where Simba is born, so there seems to be something wrong... I mean, who doesn't go to their nephew's "baptism"? Right away we notice how Scar seems to oppose Simba and Mufasa, which adds a sense of conflict, then setting the story in motion.

EXPOSITION

The story starts with a view of the african savanna, and comes to rest on pride rock where the heir to the throne, Simba, is born. Simba is taken from his parents and raised by Rafiki, which starts the story.
