George used to work for a logging company and in those days it was normal for people to walk to work.
One day he was on his usual path when some wolves took interest and started chasing him. He started running and running and eventually he made it home but he ended up dying there of exhaustion which isn't a quick death.
Gerald's ancestors came from Ireland. They were wanted because they were trying to overthrow the government. And with that reason, they fled. His first ancestor landed in Boston in 1800 - which is the year the Acts of Union was accepted. His name was John Barnes and his son was born August 24th in 1810, named Charles. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts.
Charles went to Quebec and married a French woman who was also Catholic. They then had a son named George Barnes. He was born June 18th,1844 in Papineau, Quebec. He was chased by wolves and died of exhaustion and is buried in Massey, Ontario. Before his passing he had a son named John on June 29th,1904; this was Gerald's father.

Born: August 21, 1762 in Pointe-Claire, Quebec
Married to: Gosephte Geamme
He was most likely a logger too.
According to my Nana, he did nothing.
Born - May 25, 1964
Throughout his life he has been a pizza chef, a paramedic, a commando officer, and is currently a carpenter.
He was the first one in his family to live in Western Canada. The reason for that is my mom.
My mom's father wanted to travel every direction of Canada (East, West, North, and South). He died before he was able to travel out West so my mom continued his expedition. She left Ontario with my dad because he said he knew some areas in B.C. When they were coming through, they broke down near Squamish and they used all their traveling money' to fix the truck.
So they got jobs in Squamish and the plan was to make enough to travel back home. They loved the B.C. life and stayed a year then traveled back to Espanola, Ontario. They missed the life in B.C. so they returned and had a baby. They followed my Uncle Patrick (Patty) to Calgary to work in his business. They hated the weather so they moved back to Squamish because my mom missed it so much. They then had a second child and stayed for about two more years.
During that time my mom became pregnant with her third child. Before she was born, my dad had an opportunity to buy my Uncle Patty's business called 'Yawbus Pizza' in Kelowna. We've lived here ever since.
