Road Map to Physical Therapy

What is Physical Therapy?

"Day in the Life"

Physical therapy deals with the dysfunctions of the muscles, joints, bones, and/or nerves. Progress is made through modalities and different exercises to regain strength.

In the life of a physical therapist, a day usually contains many exercises for a wide range of people depending of specialty of your practice. The exercises are to strengthen different muscles, bones, nerves, etc. due to injuries. A physical therapist goal is to return the patient back to full range of motion. You can't forget about all the communication and positive attitude that needs to be present as well as the never-ending paperwork.
