Pride/Pried

Pride- A feeling that one has worth and importance; self-respect.

"I have my pride."

Pried- To open with force.

"I pried the locker door open with a crowbar.

Trick- Pried=force Pride=proud

Bear/Bare

Bear- An animal.

"I hunt bears."

Bare- Plain, dull.

"The tires on my brother's car were bare."

Trick- Bare Bear Bare tires go on roads more than bears.

Lead/Led

Lead- To be followed in the past.

"I lead the battle."

Led- Stuff in pencils and what was use to be used on fishing hooks.

"I write with led in pencils. It is illegal to use led when you fish."

Trick- Lead a= army or team.

Creak/Creek

Creek- A small stream.

"I swim in creeks."

Creak- A sound a door makes.

"My bed creaks when I sit on it."

Trick- Creek There is more than one creek in the world.
