St. Louise De Marillac

Louise is known as a saint, especially fro all the things she has done for those who she helped. Before she died,in France the houses from congregation were starting to increase. this made a change in the world because of it, this started to spread all over the world. These institutes can be named Sisters of Charity or Daughters, as Vincent Preferred.

  • Death: Year 1660
  • Became a Nun, educated by the Dominican.
  • Institution- St. Louise showed this by making charities, hospitals, schools, and houses to help others.
  • Sacrament- St. Louise showed us that she believes in us and became a saint to help the poor
  • People of God- Louise is one of God's people she helped around the world but first she started in her hometown, which would be France, to start.
  • Servant- She showed us how to be a servant, and how we can start by helping others and what God wants us to do

Meeting her....

If i were to meet her, it would be a pleasure because i would get to see her, knowing that I'm actually talking to a saint that does miracles. ESpecialy, i would ask her questions like "How was it without having a mother around for the longest time?". Learning of this saint was never what i have imagined how wonderful she is.

Historical Information

As she grew up, without her mother because she never knew who her mother was. Louise married a man named Antony LeGras. She experienced lots of sad moments when her husband died. When she met St. Vincent de Paul this began the story of her of how she became important to the church and helped around the world.

Important

Louise is important in the church because

she helped the poor, caring for the people who were sick, and more. As she visited some places, she established charities which would be a new beginning of the Daughters Vincent preferred.

Louise's charities became approved in the year 1655.
