DEFINITION
MCA Use
on the mca's, you need to know what allusions are. this means if you are given a sentence, you need to be able to find the allusion, be able to put one in the sentence, etc. what you are learning right now you need to be able to do it on the test.
- an implied or indirect reference especially when used in literature
Examples
- I whipped out my sword like I was Anakin Skywalker with his lightsaber
- I'm so fly, they should call me Superman
- People call me like I'm Carly Rae Jepsen
-When Hercules is training, they are alluding to the movie The Karate Kid
- many situations in the Harry Potter series allude to Greek Mythology
