ACTIVITY!

China's Physical features

These two rivers were very important for Ancient China's growth and success.

Why do you think this is the case?

*Think back to Ancient Egypt - Why was The Nile important?

*What does fresh water bring a country?

About 5,200km west to east

About 5,500km north to south

Where would you live?

You are the leader of your tribe and your people are looking to you to decide where they should settle. It’s been a long walk from Africa! Think of the pros and cons for each area.

Decide on the area you want your people to settle in and create a convincing poster on Piktocart!

*Further explained on blog*

The melting snows from the Himalaya mountains in the west create two of China's most important rivers, the Yellow River and the Yangzi River.
