The 3 people who are practicing this African Dance are utilizing their space. As you can see, these 3 people are utilizing their space well by keeping an imaginary clock around themselves. they can move left, right, front and back. They move around within their space they have. This video also shows movement. The 3 people in the video are moving a lot. They are moving every part of their body, which means that the dance element "body" is in this video. These 3 people are doing every step at the right beat, and at the right time. This means that the dance element time is also in this video. The 3 people know when to do one step and everyone is coordinated with each other. This means that there is the dance element "relationship" in this video too.

This video is a Hip-Hop dance. The 2 people in this video are using their space properly, because they are moving left, right, front and back. They are moving around and there is a lot of movement. 1. Popping

2. Locking

This was created by Sam Solomon. Popping is contracting and relaxing your muscles quickly, which causes a jerk in your body. These jerks are called pops or hits.

This was created by Don Campbell and introduced by his crew, The Lockers. Locking is performing a quick movement, "locking" into another position, then holding the last position for a few seconds. The bottom part of the body usually remains in a relaxed nas steady position while the arms and hands have more movement. Dancers who perform locking movements are called "lockers."
