  • Scout and Dill meet Mr. Dolphus Raymond
  • The children leave with Calpurnia for supper, they later return
  • Tom Robinson is charged guilty
  • Misss Stephanie tells the children that Bob Ewell is out to get Atticus
  • Jem thinks that the reason Boo doesn't come out is because he doesn't want to
  • Jem and Scout go the Play, Scout is a Ham.
  • On their way home they get attacked by and unkown man
  • Then, they get saved by and unkown man
  • Heck Tate tells everyone that Bob Ewell has a knife through his ribs and is dead by the tree where Jem and Scout were attacked
  • We find out Boo Radley saved Jem and Scout
  • Scout walks Boo home and has an eye opening experience

• Atticus declares he is defending Tom Robinson

• Uncle Jack visits for Christmas Holidays

• Atticus shoots a mad dog on the street, Scout and Jem are surprised by his abilities

• Jem destroys Mrs. Dubose’s plants, he then reads to her daily as a punishment

• Mrs. Dubose dies and we find out she had a morphine addiction

• Jem starts to mature and spends less time with Scout

• Dill doesn’t come to Maycomb that summer

• Calpurnia brings the children to the black church

• Aunt Alexandra comes to live with the Finchs

• Scout find Dill hiding under her bed

• We learn the story is narrated by a young girl named Jean Louise Finch

• We learn she has a brother named Jem, A father Named Atticus and a friend named Dill

• The story takes place in Maycomb county

• Dill leaves Maycomb to return home to Meridian

• Scout starts school, where a series of strange events happen

• Walter comes over to the Finch’s for lunch. He then covers his food in Molasses

• Scout finds school easy and not fun

• Scout starts to find gifts in the knothole in the tree on the Radley property, including chewing gum and Indian head pennies

  • Tom Robinson is killed
  • Dill goes home
  • School starts. Scout is in the Thrid Grade, Jem is in the Seventh
  • Bob Ewell gets a Job but loses it after just a few days
  • Helen (Tom's wife) gets a job at a farm and is harased everyday by Bob Ewell on her way to work

• Jem and Dill grow closer, leaving Scout out more and more

• The children try to get Boo out of the house by saying they’ll buy him ice cream and by sticking a note on a fishing pole, Atticus tells them to stop

• The children start playing the Boo Radley game

• The children try to look at Boo from a window, Jem rips and looses his pants in the process

• We find out Jem’s pants were sewed up when he went back to get them

• Jem and scout find more things in the knothole including what looks like them carved in soap

• Mr. Nathan Radley fills the knothole in with cement

• There is snow in Maycomb for the first time in years

• Miss Maudie’s house catches on fire
