The Swiss.

Analysis Paragraph.

The Swiss have affected Texas and America in many ways. They have influenced our culture, and have brought many advancements to our culture. The Swiss originally came during the American Revolution period, and later moved, down south to Texas. One famous Swiss, Jean Louis Berlandier, was a botanist, who went with Mier y Teran, and made detailed botanical observations, that are still widely used. Another Swiss, Charles Amler, he helped in the Siege of Bexar, and when asked to get horses for Colonel Fannin, he got some, and inspired Deaf Smith to join the Army. Many Swiss have become bakers, and bankers. Also, John Wahrenberger, warned the people of Austin, that the Archives were being removed, and started the Archive War. Many Swiss inventors have also influenced American culture. For example, Milton Hershey, who founded the Hershey Chocolate company, has created a cultural icon, that is recognizable anywhere.
