  • The TSA is a microcosm of the government as a whole as it is ineffective, costly, and racially biased.
  • It needs to be overhauled or removed from practice.

Ineffective

  • The TSA takes up 7.6 billion dollars within the Government budget.
  • This 7.6 billion dollars is being wasted on a ineffective program and these resources could be filtered to other government agencies.
  • The department of education could fund entirely new schools and the department of federal highway administration could pay for new roads and highways to relieve traffic congestion
  • The TSA has been perennially ineffective at actually screening dangerous items.
  • A recent test of a dozen different airports showed that 95% of potentially dangerous devices or weapons made it through security.
  • Along with the TSA’s creation, the cockpit doors were made more durable so no potential terrorist could break into and harm the captain, and positive baggage matching was also implemented.

TSA

  • The TSA is a government agency created after the world trade center and pentagon attacks on 9/11
  • This administration is a racist facade which adds no value to the security process within airports and is considered by many to be a waste of resources, time.
