my sister plays too, and we

field. I love the sport and I also

love watching baseball!

• As I am vegan, I am very passionate about healthy eating and cooking! I love learning about new foods and experimenting with new recipes.
• I am also passionate about music of all types and genres. After a long day, there is nothing better than putting on some music and relaxing in my room.

Family

I live with my mom, dad, younger sister, and our two dogs. My sister's name is Emily, and she is a sophomore this year. She is my best friend; we do everything together! We have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Margo and a Black Lab named Wink. I intentionally placed family at the center of this web about me, as my family sits at the heart of my life. My family is always there to cheer me up and keep me motivated.

• I am an alto saxophonist in band and have been all four years. This year, I am on the Band Council as a treasurer and am the leader of my instrument section.
• I have participated in Spanish Club since my freshman year. Last year, I was one of three presidents of the club, which was a lot of fun!
• I have been involved with LYD since my freshman year. I have been in TATU for three years so far, serving as a group leader for two of those years. This year will be my fourth as a Healthy High participant and my second as a group leader.

Favorite Subjects

• I have been babysitting for families in East since the beginning of my seventh grade year. I babysit regularly for a family on my street that has an eight-year-old boy and a six-year-old girl. However, I still have the opportunity to babysit for the first family who ever hired me, and I love that I have been able to watch their youngest of three boys grow up. He was only fifteen months old when I first began watching him, and he is now six!
• Last year, I began tutoring in all subjects for a freshman girl at East. It is so rewarding when she understands the material! Her mom has even told me I should be a teacher!

Although I really enjoy learning in general, my favorite subjects have to be English and math. I was not a bookworm in the slightest as a child, but I have grown to love reading and writing in high school! I have also always enjoyed the straightforward nature of mathematics as well as the challenge that comes with solving each problem.
