I learned that beach reclamation is often done through a process called dredging.

What is beach reclamation?

It takes away sand. The act of reclaiming a beach from erosion.

Why is soil conservation important?

It's the best way to make sure that we have the land we need to live on.

Planting vegetation, retaining walls, and plant a rain garden.

What causes soil erosion?

The causes of soil erosion are flooding, rainfall,humans, and vegetation. Erosion takes away sediments.

What causes beach erosion?

Build levees, dams, and barriers.

beach erosion is caused by waves when they pound on the shore AND TAKES AWAY THE SAND and currents.
