When I walked out of the hotel, I smelt the crisp, fresh air, blowing by me. I first went to see three monuments the first day, four the next, took a break on the third day, two on the fourth and I had just the right amount of time to see one last monument. I learned so many cool things about all these cool places. I went to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Stade de France, and many more. It was very exciting seeing all thses historical and unique places all around Paris.
The Eiffel Tower was built in 1889 and was made with over 18,000 pices of puddle iron and 2.5 million rivets. It was almost torn down by the Nazi's. They wanted to destroy it. The french people broke the elevators so that they had to walk all the way up.
Phew! What a ride! I had just gotten off the airplane and was going to get my suitcase. When I got it I walked out of the airport and looked some flyers that were just outside on a wooden post for the hotels that were considered the most luxurious hotels in all of Paris. I thought I might try one out called Mr and Mrs. Smith hotel. I took a flyer and what do you know! There was a map on the back and it seemed only about three blocks away. Infact, I could see it. It was shiny and gold. I saw the cars pulling in and out of the parking area and the bellman opening the doors for people and helping people with their luggage. I got to the hotel and checked in at the front desk in the most beutiful lobby. It costed me about 23,749 dollars. I got to my room and looked at the view of the Eiffel Tower. I settled in, put on a hat, packed a bag for the day, and went out to explore the ride of a lifetime!!!
