A mammal is a animal that has fur and is warm blooded one type of a is a human a mammal also has to have their babies born live like humans all except for the platypus they also have to give there babies milk and they need oxygen and they can live in the sea.

Amphibians start out in the water and then go on land they start out with gills

and then they grow lungs they lay eggs and are cold blooded and they can breathe through their skin.

A vertebrate is a animal that has a back bone a lot of animals do not have back bones the back bone protects the spinal cord.

fish are animals that live under water most have scales and breathe with gills they lay eggs and are cold blooded they can live in fresh water, salt water, streams, rivers, lakes, oceans, ponds, and swamps.
