An Amusement Park Is Like A Plant Cell

Endoplasmic reticulum:

Its job is synthesizing, folding, modifying, and transporting of proteins and lipids.

Rough endoplasmic reticulum cover with ribosomes on its outer surface which gives it a rough appearance, and smooth endoplasmic reticulum isn't covered with ribosomes which gives it a smooth appearance.

The pathways in the park are the endoplasmic reticulum of the cell. They connect numerous areas to allow the people to get to where they need. It is like the channels and tubes that gives connection to the cell’s organelles.

Cytoplasm:

It is a jelly-like fluid that fills a cell. The cytoplasm holds the internal components of cell in place and protects them from damage.

The people at the amusement park are like the cytoplasm of a cell. They fill the inside of the amusement park and circulate inside it.

Mitochondria:

Its function is to perform cellular respiration. This means it takes in nutrients from the cell, and turns it into energy, by breaking it down.

The power house is like the mitochondria of the cell. It gives power to the rides so they are able to run.

Cell wall:

The gates that surround the amusement park are like a cell wall of a plant cell. Their secure and stable structure gives protection the park (cell).

Cell plasma membrane:

The gates that surround the amusement park are like a cell wall of a plant cell. Their secure and stable structure gives protection the park (cell).

It works as a barrier that controls what enters and exits the cell

The security guards are like the cell plasma membrane of a cell. They control who enter and leaves the cell, and makes sure no unwanted people enter the park.

The Golgi body sorts the proteins and packs them into membrane wrapped structures

The garbage bags are like the vesicles of a cell. When the janitors pick up the waste, they package it in a garbage bag (vesicle).

The food stands are like the chloroplast of a cell. They make food for the customer that wants food inside the amusement park.

The workers are like ribosomes of a cell. This is because they take instructions and commands from the head office (nucleus).

processes, distributes proteins and lipid.

Janitors are like the golgi apparatus of a cell. They package waste or left over food that people leave at the amusement park when they go.

Nucleus:

contains genetic material, and controls the activities of the cell.

The head office of an amusement park is like the nucleus of a cell. It controls all activities regarding the amusement park, such as what happens inside of it as well as how it works.
