-Make sure students practice for their performance.

-Students perform for the class.

-Students could keep the fairy tale that they chose a mystery and have other students guess which one it is. However, you would probably have students act in silence.

-You could have students give each other feedback.

-You could have students assess themselves on their own performance.

  • This lesson will help students understand the fundamentals of stories. Some teachers use this lesson plan for their reading or writing units.

-Beginning: They want to get to the other side of the bridge to eat more grass.

-Middle: The small and medium billy goats walk by the troll.

-End: The big billy goat defeats the troll and they can finally eat all the grass they want!

-If you would like to, you could have the students watch the video below to understand the story more.
