In the middle of the book, Charlotte became more used to the crew.

In the beginning, Charlotte Doyle was a very proper young lady.

In the beginning, Captain Jaggery was a gentleman.

"I'm sure my father would not want me traveling."

"I've come." I managed to say, "to be one of the crew."

In the middle he was beging to get more rude to Charlotte.

This quote shows that Charlotte was wanting to be one of the crew.

This quote shows that Charlotte was very hesitant to board the Seahawk. The Seahawk was the boat Charlotte traveling.

He treated Charlotte like a young baby. He wanted to protect her, because Cpt. J worked for Charlotte's dad.

when Charlotte accidentaly whiped Captain Jaggery, the captain took it too seriously, and he said this.

"I'm no longer a passenger. I'm with them."

"I didn't trust my own senses, sir."

This quote shows that Charlotte was getting used to being with the crew. After learning Jaggery's true personality, she joined the crew.

This quote shows that Charlotte was very unsure about her choices. In this quote, Charlotte was talking to Captain Jaggery.

When a hurricane oucuured, he was arguing with hollybrass then killed him.

After that he acused her for the murder.

This quote shows that, he wanted to keep his job, so he had to protect Charlotte even if he didn't want to.

In the end, he began to be a psycopathic killer.

In the end, Charlotte was used to the crew. She returned home in Liverpool, hoping to have a better life. After she knew what she thought was going to be a happy ending for her wasn't so happy after all, she joined the crew again.

He said to Charlotte , "You were the one who killed Mr. Hollybrass."

Within an hour I was standing on the India docks, standing before the Seahawk.

This quote shows that Captain J. Wanted Charlotte to be accused and die.

he wanted her to be hung.

This quote was in the end after she returned home and decided to go back to the crew. She was on the docks, waiting before the Seahawk.

This quote is in the very end when Charlotte remembers something that Zachariah told her.

Charlotte's punishment was to be hung. Jaggery was the one who wanted her to die.

"Tomorrow you will be hung, and will die."

The clothes may have been what Cpt. Jaggery wore.

In the very end, Charlotte had a big fight with Jaggery, and it ended up with Jaggery falling in to the ocean. He died.

This dress ( the clothes) may have been what Charlotte wore.
