Water Hyacinths can be turned into a sustainable livelihood. They can be turned into baskets, paper, yarn, fiberboard, fertilizers, biofuel, and more.

Illegal Logging:

Plant trees in the area to avoid the continuing soil erosion.

Pollution:

Help in river cleaning activities and

avoid throwing trash into the

improper areas.

the Water Hyacinth plants cause floods because they clog and choke the river.

Illegal Logging cause soil erosion along the river banks.

Rio Grande de Minadanao's polluted waters cause the rapid growth of Water Hyacinths because they feed off of the pollutant filled waters.
