Factual vs. Emotional Truth

What is Factual and Emotional Truth?

Factual truth can be supported by evidence, emotional truth is what the person feels and uses to manipulate the truth.

Rachel Hernandez

Example #2

Example #1

In everyday life people use facts and emotions to express there feelings about events that they have been exposed to. Certain people get caught up in how something made them feel and then it ends up being different from the truth because they let their emotions get in the way of the truth. Once society reaches a certain point of false truth they face so many obstacles to see the difference between real and fake.

What is a theme?

Night

Works Cited

By: Elie Wiesel

In Night Wiesel conveys the theme of Factual vs. Emotional truth by telling his story using both emotional truth and factual truth. The emotional truth that he uses is when he is telling people what is going on around him by using the way everything is making him feel to describe it. The factual truth is shown by the events that Wiesel talks about during the Holocaust that can be researched and proven right (Wiesel).
