impact on others

JFK impacted the lives of american people very much so that's why when everyone found out about his killing they all were mad and sad.JFK's life was admirable because of all of his promises that he didn't get to fulfill. JFK was a hero to the few many who really admired him in the way as his own children did. i never got to meet him but everyone says he made a great change in the world i was born in.

decisions/lessons

J.F.K made some bad decisions like supporting Vietnam in the Vietnam war. i could learn a lot from JFK but the one thing i do know is that he was a great person. some lessons are always be nice, never give up, and always be curtious.

J.F.K's Background

John Fitzgerald Kennedy—or "Jack," as friends and family knew him—was born on 29 May 1917 in Brookline, Massachusetts, a quiet, affluent, tree-lined suburb of Boston. His parents, preoccupied with social status and legitimizing their place in Boston's high society, made a concerted effort to provide Jack and his siblings with the finest opportunities available. By all accounts, the Kennedy children enjoyed a privileged lifestyle that including sailing, summer homes on the coast, lavish meals, and upper-crust boarding schools. As a young man, Jack rarely carried cash, knowing that the family's accountant would settle all debts and balances privately.

Becoming Famous

i used whitehouse.gov, yahoo awnsers, and jfklibary.org .

Before j.f.k wanted to be president he wanted to be a journalist but he abandoned it to join the navy. JFK then left the navy by the end of 1944. Less than a year later he came back to Boston to prepare for running for congress in 1946. As a democrat, and backed by his fathers fortune, he won his party's nomination handily and carried the most working-class eleventh district by nearly three to one over his republican opponent in the general election. JFK had a lot of quality's he was kind, hardworking, and a leader. during presidency JFK did loads of good things for the u.s.a like, Created the Peace Corps, Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, Supported racial integration and Civil Rights; proposed what would become the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Created Project Apollo, which led to the first man landing on the moon six years after JFK's death, Created the President's Committee on Equal Employment Opportunity which sought to end discrimination in government and covert discrimination among government contractors.
