when Malcolm got to Boston he started hanging out with the wrong crowd. he learned how to hustle and started drinking and smoking reefer(weed). he even started to sell it in his workplace bathroom
THE PLOT LINE OF THe STORY JUMPS FROM DIFFERENT TIMES IN MALCOLM'S LIFE THAT SOMEHOW RELATE TO EACH OTHER BUT I WILL EXPLAIN IT IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER
the book is narrated by Malcolm little aka "red". the storyline takes place over a period of about 20 years. from being a little 6yr old boy running around with his siblings in the house to being 23 yrs old and in jail
THE BOOK THAT I CHOSE FOR MY NOVEL STUDY IS "X" WRITTEN BY THE DAUGHTER OF MALCOLM X, ILYASAH SHABAZZ. IT IS A FICTION BOOK BASED ON REAL EVENTS OF MALCOLM X'S LIFE growing up as a black male in america
I CHOSE THIS BOOK BECAUSE I'VE HEARD ABOUT MALCOLM X FROM SOME OF MY RELATIVES AND FROM SEVERAL MOVIES I'VE WATCHED AND I WANTED TO GAIN MORE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT HIM AS A HUMAN AND A LEADER.
