A mistress to the late millionaire Jay Gatsby sat down with our reporters to tell her side of the story. Daisy was seen multiple times entering and leaving Gatsby's Mansion after hours of what we can all think of. Our reporter Elizabeth Nelson had a few question for this mysterious lover.
One of the questions to Mrs. Buchanan was why she had the affair since she is married to the rich Tom Buchanan. "Tom had an affair too, I was lonely and sad nobody knew me like Gatsby knew me and nobody could love me like Gatsby loved me."
Daisy went on to tell five years earlier before her marriage her and Gatsby had a romantic relationship together till Gatsby left for war leaving her to marry Tom. "I loved Gatsby, but I love my husband too I could never say I didn't love either of them it wouldn't be true."
Daisy and her husband are moving out of their mansion in the East egg that they lived in with their daughter Pammy when questioned why Daisy gave an eyebrow raising answer. "There's too much going on in the East egg with all these murders i'm too close to the situation.... as in being Gatsby's lover of course!
Daisy continued the interview with our reporter she seemed more careful with her answer for the rest of the time. One question everyone wanted to know what was it like to be in love in The Great Gatsby? "It was wonderful when we were younger and things were so simple reconnecting helped me realize Gatsby was just asking too much of me he was obsessed I loved him but it was too hard."
We all thought thought this mysterious millionaire would be the lover of the century but his intentions now aren't at all what we thought thanks to our millionaire mistress!

Millionaire Jay Gatsby's house the day of the murder/suicide.
In recent event’s two murders have been committed and one suicide does this show how violence is spreading like a disease in New York. Violence is everywhere it’s a triggered event from one thing to another it’s a never ending cycle that everyone gets involved in. The murder of Jay Gatsby was from false accusations of killing Myrtle Wilson by her own husband George Wilson who shot and killed himself after killing Gatsby. All show how when one act of violence happens it causes other acts to happen throughout the situation. Everywhere there is violence an example is Tom and Gatsby getting into an almost violent fight when talking about who Daisy really loved causing her to be hysterical in the end. Daisy then drove emotionally unstable after the situation and killed Myrtle Wilson by hitting her at full speed another act of violence already. After Myrtles death, Tom seeked revenge on Gatsby for killing his lover by giving George Wilson the idea that Gatsby killed his wife when in fact it wasn’t. George then went on to shoot Gatsby in his pool and turn the gun on himself all acts of violence fueled by the previous acts.
The studies on violence in articles say that “violence is contagious, and spreads like a disease. Just as tuberculosis spreads in the lung and cholera multiplies in the intestine, a violent experience or image can take hold in the brain, and be reproduced from there into real life” (Swanson). This just shows how people see one act of violence and it stick in their mind influencing every decision they make for a long time. Everyone is effected by the spread of violence it’s in everyone’s life they might not notice but it effects them and could just trigger their own act of violence.
