Crisis
Charybdis is an enormous whirlpool that threatens to swallow the whole entire ship.
Resolution
The crew ate some of Helios cows so, Zeus struck the boat with lightning and kills all the men but Odysseus.
Conflict
The main conflict in this book is when,Odysseus goes through Scylla and Charybdis. This is a very daunting task and causes Odysseus to lose all of his men and almost lose his life as well but we wouldn't just let the book end there.
Complication
When the Sirens started to sing and Odysseus put beeswax in his crews ears so they don't follow them and at the end his crew gets tied up to stay away from the Sirens.
Exposition
Odysseus and his men start out in the underworld in the beginning.
Conclusion
Odysseus alone survives. He eventually floats to island of Calypso.And the queen asks him where he is from and keeps him there for 7 years and this episode ends with Odysseus ends the telling of his tale to King Alcinous.
