The Roman upper-class had more money than the lower class. They could buy the best meats, the best vegetables, and the best clothes. They also had better education than those of the lower class. In the upper class, there were many citizens there, that could vote or become a leader- but even though women were citizens, they could not vote or become an elected official. There were also patricians, who was a large class of ruling families. The partricians were the highest class in Rome.
The greek upper class was made of men that had enough money to have multiple slaves to take care of buying and cooking things, and taking care of material concerns. The men could then focus more on government, war, and other things. They are also allowed to vote, write stories and focus on philosophy.
