Benedict Arnold was born on January 14, 1741. He received a private school education. During his childhood, three of his siblings died of a disease called the "Yellow Fever". Then, his father began to start drinking heavily.
In August 1780, Benedict Arnold was made commander of West Point. He purposely refused to help repair or resupply the base, which was weakening it.
