He was the first of four children.
At the end of the story the son (Harold) told his father that there is a way to save the business.
They can raise money.
I think that this story is about a father and a son reconnecting with each other and making their relationship stronger through saving a business together.
This story was based in the 1900.
It is about a boy going to visit his father as the fathers factory went bankrupt. As the son (Harold) arrives at the factory he describes the outside of the building. It was newly painted and everything was newly polished. The further they entered the building the more he saw all of the things that was not there anymore. All of the machinery was gone and there was only one chair and one table in the office and a teapot and one tea cup.
When the son firstly arrived his father was happy to see him as they have not seen each other in a couple of years.
- The way that the father greeted the son was a very shy way of greeting someone. It was almost like meeting someone new.
- When they final got to the office there was a fly in the office and both the father and the son did not like it. The father got on the table and tried to kill it. At this time the son was worried about his fathers safety.
