Banksy was born in bristol U.K. He Claims to have based his work on 3D from massive attack. His identity is still shrouded in mystery and remains unknown, although he has compiled a book of his work, which includes his thoughts, called wall and piece. Bansky first started stenciling on public streets and walls in the early 1990's. when he first started, he was part of Drybreadz crew, a bistol-based street gang. In the early days, Bansky work was mainly freehand and it was only from the late 1990's onwards that he started using stencils more and more in his work.
