Maker Movement at CISS
- We Are Makers tells the story of the Maker Movement.
- It's the story not of tools but of people. A publisher, an entrepreneur, a design professor, a middle school teacher, two museum educators, and a creative director.
- Each provides an important viewpoint on why new technologies and communities of making are bringing us back to something deeply human.

Create more opportunities for young people to make, and, by making, build confidence, foster creativity, and spark interest in science, technology, engineering, math, the arts—and learning as a whole.

- Student participation is totally optional.
- The level of teacher involvement is up to you.
- Tell your students about it.
- Encourage them to hang on to any of their cool creations.
- Entries can include any school projects, hobbies, cooking, science, technology, engineering, math, arts...
- Direct them to the information packet.
- Tell them to get ideas from the project sites.
