  • Go to page 4 in your booklet.
  • Look at the pictures.
  • Pick a word from the box that best describes the picture.
  • Write the word next to the picture
  • Skim through the text and highlight the following words:

Task 1

  • Look at the book covers for J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit.
  • Annotate the presentational devices that are being used for each picture and explain why you think they are significant

Task 2
