Judge a book by its cover
Task 1
- Look at the book covers for J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit.
- Annotate the presentational devices that are being used for each picture and explain why you think they are significant
Task 2
- Using these images, make some predictions about the book using your mind-map headings as a guide.
- Share your ideas with a partner, and then discuss with the rest of the class to see if your ideas are similar.
