JEWS AND THEIR
PLIGHT DURING THE HOLOCAUST
Adnan Hakimji
This picture represents the
conditions and worries that prisoners
of the Nazis lived through. These are just
a few of the deaths that occurred during the
Holocaust, at the end almost 9 million would have been killed by any means deemed necessary.
Many who were fortunate enough attempted to escape
Hitler controlled countries leading them to the United States. However, there were a few cases where some ships holding these refugees were forced to turn back and whoever never made it out faced the wrath of the merciless Nazi SS.
These were how the living conditions were for those who were prisoners. Little food, crowded quarters, merciless torture, hard slave like labor, and death by execution in the infamous Gas Chamber.
This picture represents the liberation of prisoners of Nazis across Europe. Although these liberation of camps did not occur until towards the end of war, those missions still potentially saved lives of million of lives.
This photo shows the relief on the faces of people after they are released from the clutches of the concentration camps and head back home. The Holocaust in general was costly in terms of lives lost and regarded as the worst crime against humanity known to man.
