Description of Bacteria
The Domain Bacteria is made up of organisms that are common and live almost anywhere. There are more bacteria in your mouth than there are people in the world. They do many different things like cause illness, help to make food and decompose things.

* Spherical bacteria that lives on human skin and the respiratory tract.
* It can be found as a part of the normal skin flora or cause serious infections.

Bacteria can cause deadly diseases and can be helpful.
They live almost anywhere and in every ecological system. Bacterial cells have one of three basic shapes: spherical, rods or spiral.
Lactobacillus delbrueckii
* Rod shaped bacteria that is used for the production of yogurt.
* It feeds on lactose in milk and produces lactic acid which is used to preserve milk.
Borrelia burgdorferi
* Spiral shaped Bacteria that is called a spirochete.
* This bacteria causes Lyme disease.
* It is spread to humans by ticks.
