REM and NREM Stages

Stage 1: Stage 1 is a NREM sleep stage. In stage one the person is just entering sleep and will be easy to wake. They will also forget about any dreams they had during that time. Their brain will also start simulating hallucinations while in this stage

REM: The final stage is REM sleep during REM sleep your eyes being to flicker. You are also easy to wake up but it is also easy to go back to sleep. During REM sleep is when you really start dreaming and it becomes easy to remember things

Stage 2: Stage 2 is a light sleep. During this time you are easy to wake. During this time your brains activity is brain wave spindles and you will not remember your dreams

Stage 3: In stage 3 you begin to sleep walk and by this time it is hard to wake you up. While you are sleep walking your brain activity is delta waves and you become concious of some of your dreams.

Stage 4: Stage 4 is almost exactly the same as stage 3 with sleep walking and delta waves. It is also till very hard to wake you back up
