Ribosomes are like the cooks of the restaurants because ribosomes are the protein synthesizers of the cell, in the same way the cooks make all the food for the restaurant.
The nucleus is like the restaurant manager of a restaurant because the nucleus controls and organizes the activities of the entire cell in the same way the restaurant manager controls and organizes everything that happens within the restaurant.
Peroxisomes are like the grills within a restaurant because they break down fatty acids, in the same way grills cook the fat out of food.
Lysosomes are like the compost of a restaurant because lysosomes digest things (for example: digesting food or breaking down the cell when it dies), in the same way the compost of a restaurant breaks down food.
Flagella is like the hosts of the restaurant because they aid the cell in movement, in the same way the hosts of a restaurant help everything in the restaurant move.
The cytoskeleton is like the building of the restaurant itself because the building gives shape and structure to the restaurant in the same way the cytoskeleton gives structure to the cell while supporting it.
The microtubule within the cell is like both the beams that hold up the roof of the restaurant and the spaces between the tables which serve as the walking patterns for waiters. This is because microtubules help define cell structure and movement within an animal cell the same way that the beams provide support to the restaurant, and the spaces between the tables have to do with movement within a restaurant.
The intermediate filaments are like the bricks in restaurant wall because they are a large majority of the structural support of a cell, in the same way the bricks in the restuarants walls are imperative to the strucural support of a restaurant.
The Microfilaments are like the cement in the walls of the restaurant because they're the small but rigid part of the wall (structure), in the same way the cement within the walls of the restaurant is inflexible and is only a small part of the wall.
