Symbols of the God of Uncertainty

Theodon is commonly painted with a lyre in hand.

Associated symbols of Theodon include his lyre, broken scale, and the Scepter of Reality, his golden scepter that is topped with a sphere that is one vertical half black and the other white with a grey circle in the center. The Scepter of Reality is also Theodon's representative constellation in the night sky.

Symbolic Colors of Theodon

Colors associated with Theodon and considered sacred by his followers are the opposites black and white as well as gray; these symbolize the extremes of reality, war and peace, and the "gray' in between.

Forces Represented by Theodon

Much like his twin sister, Theodon is a rather powerful and influential god, and he represents and controls reality with the ability to bend it and people's fate and fortune. He also represents the uncertainty in life.

Eternal Nemesis of Theodon

The nemesis to Theodon is his twin sister, Nemesis. Their loathing for each other stems from Theodon's twisting of reality and the fates of gods and humans, thus changing their fortunes. This change of fortune angers Nemesis who feels that all fortunes and vengeance are hers to judge. The best example is Theodon's intervention in the doomed fortune of the Olympians where he altered reality to spare them from the awakened primordial deities who were intent on destroying them.

Theodon's Parents

Siblings of the God of Reality

Theodon, the god of reality and uncertainty, was born to the primordial deity Nyx, the embodiment of the night, and he is without a father since Nyx bore him alone.

Nemesis, the goddess of fortune and vengeance, is the twin sister of Theodon. Some of Theodon's other commonly known siblings include Thanatos, the Fates, Hypnos, Apate, and Charon.

Charon, son of Nyx and brother of Theodon.
