Factors Which Affect Entropy
- Temperature - as temperature increases so does entropy.
- Number of particles - as the number of particles increases so does entropy.
- Complexity - the more complex the system the greater the entropy.
Entropy (S) is the extent of disorder of matter and/or energy in a system.
Entropy along with enthalpy (endo or exo) can be used to determine the sponteneity of a reaction.
