Anne Frank is a big part of history. She lived a very interesting life. The most interesting part of her in my opinion was when she was hiding in the secret annex.
My last reason I chose Anne Frank was because of her personality. Her personality was the most interesting part of her. In the article online, the text states, ""I see the world being slowly transformed into a wilderness; I hear the approaching thunder that, one day, will destroy us too. I feel the suffering of millions. And yet, when I look up at the sky, I somehow feel that everything will change for the better, that this cruelty too shall end, that peace and tranquility will return once more."" This means that Anne still had hope that all of the hate a violence will end. Even with all the negativity going on around her she had hope that it would stop. I think her hope is the most interesting part about her (biography.com, 2017).
She is a big part of history because when she was hiding in the secret Annex she would write her experiences in her diary. This is important because when someone reads her diary they are able to know more about World War II and the troubles Jewish people faced. I know this because on website the text says, "Anne Frank describes the circumstances of her family's emigration years later in her diary... " This tells us that she wrote about her experiences while in hiding and when people read her diary they get a feeling of what it was like to be her (Biography.com, 2017).
Anne Frank was born on June 12, 1929 in Frankfurt, Germany. Anne and her family went into hiding in Amsterdam during World War II. Anne, her family, the Van Pels, and Fritz Pfeffer. While in hiding Anne wrote about her experiences in her diary. Everyone was later discovered and taken to a concentration camp but only
Otto Frank came back (Anne Frank House, 2017).
When Otto Frank published the diary Anne wrote, everyone from allover read it. Now the diary helps others understand the way life was for Jewish people in hiding. Without her, she would have not written a diary and without her diary people wouldn't understand the way life, during this time (Anne Frank House, 2017).
1. During World War I, her father was a lieutenant in the German Army (Biography.com, 2017).
2. Anne Frank received her diary as a gift for her 13th birthday (Biography.com, 2017).
3. Anne and her sister died of a disease weeks before people in camps were set free (Biography.com, 2017).
I chose her because when she was hiding in an attic for two years she wrote a diary that helps us get a better view of what life was like then. I find it very interesting. I hope you learn some things from this presentation.
Anne Frank is also an interesting person to research because she took place in World War II. Because Anne was jewish she had to go into hiding after her sister was requested to go to a camp. They knew Anne was next. A text says, "When Margot is called up to be sent to a German labour camp, Otto and Edith decide the dangers have become too great. They take their family into hiding." This shows they went into hiding because they knew it was dangerous to stay in their home where they can easily be found (Anne Frank House, 2017).
