Traditional Dances: Folk Dance, The Paraguayan Polka, The Chopi ( also known as Santa Fe/ Cielito Chopi, La Galopa ( refered to as Fast Polka) , and The dance of the Jars.

Traditional Music: Paraguayan harp music, and most of the Paraguayan music is widely influenced by the European music culture

Christmas Traditions of Paraguay

Nativity scenes or 'Presebre' holds great importance in Paraguay Christmas traditions. Christmas is warm because it is summer in December for Paraguay.

Traditional Christmas ceremonies: According to Christmasnite.com, "On the mid night, when the clock strikes twelve in Paraguay you will hear the church bell ring. Listening to this sound, people gather to attend the "La Misa Del Gallo" which means the Mass of the Rooster. After the mass, the real celebration of Christmas begins with friends and family."
