The Honors Program's curriculum offers a wide range of challenging courses. We offer special seminars, courses, and direct involvement with faculty from the start of students' lives at TSU. Students entering their freshman year are expected to elect 24 hours of their course work in Honors; many do more.

Admission Requirements:
1.A cumulative GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
2.Completion of 61 hours of lower division required University and general education courses for admission.
3.A minimum grade of C in each course. Required courses, with grades of D, must be repeated before review for admission.
4.Completion of the required basic science courses.
5.Students with 2 or more failing science grades (D or F) are not eligible for admission.
6.The required entrance examination for the TSU BSN Program is the BSN A2 Admission Assessment Examination.

Professional Opportunities:
Designers are involved in numerous fields in both public and private sectors. A background in design allows students to a seek career as a fashion designer, fashion buyer, fashion coordinator, interior designer, space planner, furniture buyer, textile designer, textile buyer, facility planner, design consultant, or a drafting or computer-aided design technician. Employment opportunities are found in many sectors including fashion and textile industries,etc.
