Igneous rocks are rocks that are

formed directly by the melting of molten rocks(magma). Most igneous rocks are part of silicate group.

Meta --> means change. Morph --> means form.

Metamorphic rocks are rocks that are formed

through recrystallization due to high pressure

and temperature. Any type of rock can

be an metamorphic type rock.
