What the process is:
The collection of water molecules around an ice crystal to form snow. It will cause frozen perception if the crystal is heavy enough.
First: Water molecules condense and freeze around freezing nuclei, which are similar to condensation nuclei. This happens at -40 degrees C
Second: The water molecule hit the ice crystals and enlarge them. The cloud droplets lose water and get smaller.
After it starts to fall
It falls through lower parts of clouds and "eats" the moisture from the rest of a cloud, becoming even larger.
The process continues, the snow flakes become heavy enough and fall.
