-Portia was Brutus's wife. She married him after her father died.

-Portia remained completely loyal to Brutus during the conspiracy to murder Caesar.

Loyalty and Devotion

-Everyone that has described Portia has said that she was an incredibly loyal and devoted person.

-Like her father, she was a Stoic. When Brutus didn't tell her about the plan to murder Caesar she stabbed herself in the thigh and didn't say a word, just to prove she could keep a secret. She only showed her wound when she began to have intense fevers and other serious health problems.

-Portia was a lover of Philosophy, a practicing stoic, and very courageous and devoted.

- She worked as a house manager in her and Brutus's home.

-After hearing of her husband Brutus's death, she also killed herself as she could not live without him.
