The 28th Amendment

Abortion Laws

Does it protect the

life, liberty and property

of the people it affects?

Why do we need to

amend the Constitution

in this way?

Amendment XXVIII

The Text

Giving women the right to abortion protects their rights and gives them a better quality of life. It is declared that "personhood" begins after a fetus becomes viable so a fetus in legal terms is considered property until it is viable.

Over the years, plenty of contreversy over the topic of abortion has arose. Woman whom maybe live in areas where abortion is illegal resort to illegal and unsafe abortion. This endangers the life of the woman.

I. We hereby propose the 28th amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America

II. Every woman shall have the right to abortion and shall not be restricted to doing so by any authority.

III. Abortion shall be declared an unalienable right.

Abortion shall be considered a fundamental right and an option for all citizens of the United States. Abortion is a womans right that shall not be restricted by government or religious authority.

Is our

Amendment a

legitimate exercise of

government authority?

Yes, because the government is to give people freedom and protect peoples unalienable rights, so women should have the freedom to choose.
