- Dan: A rememberable 13 year old teenager, and Amy's younger brother.
- Amy: Dan's older sister, and is very smart.
- Ian Kabra, Jonah Wizard, and Hamilton Holt: All cousins of the Cahills.
- Vesper One: The man who captured the hostages, and who no one knows what's his real identity.
- Hostages: The hostages are Natalie, Uncle Fiske, Alistair, Ted, Nellie, Phoenix, and Regaan.
- Clues:
- Vesper One has many cover ups, but there is one of them he uses commonly in the book.
- The book's title is based on what the others stole from the Uffizi.

- Who's Vesper One?

Setting
- The story takes place in several places:

After Dan, Amy, Hamilton, Jonah, and Ian did what Vesper One wanted them to do, the phone said that he still has more tasks for them to do, after what they went through. Which made them curious: who is Vesper One? If you want to find out, then read the book!
Plot
- After the Clue Hunt, Vesper One kidnapped Regaan, Uncle Fiske, Phoenix, Alistair, Natalie, Nellie, and Ted. Dan, Amy, Ian, Hamilton, and Jonah wanted to rescue them. In order to rescue them, they needed to follow Vesper One's orders. They first had to go to Florence, Italy, to steal something from the Uffizi. Vesper One also gave them a restricted phone to communicate with.
