Statement
5 W's +Conflict
- The theme statement for this story is that if you cannot see what is going to happen in the future, do not be quick to judge because you might not have the wiser answer.
- Before there was life on earth there was only a man and his daughter who lived in a cabin on the bank of a river. There was nothing growing or living in the world because the whole universe was dark and there was no light to be found. The man hid a secret in the cabin. He kept a giant box in his house and inside that box was another box, and then another, and then infinite boxes until the last box was so small, it could only hold all the light in the universe.

Raven gained every bit of the man's trust, and spoiled his grandson by giving in to the child's every wish.

Then they all flew up into the sky. These pieces became the stars,
moon, and sun.
