What is Uner Tan Syndrome and what causes it?

-Uner Tan Syndrome (UTS) makes a person walk on their hands and feet, and people with UTS use primitive speech and have severe mental retardation.

-UTS is caused by an unknown mutation, but it affects males more than females.

How common is UTS? How is it inherited?

-Uner Tan Syndrome is not very common.

- only a bit more than 10 people affected.

-It is unknown how it is Inherited.

How would someone know if they had UTS?

-People with UTS use sounds to communicate.

-Some can stand but cannot step while standing.

-Some cannot stand at all.

- They probably wouldn't.

-If they did notice, they would notice themselves walking on all fours often.
